Overview

Kathmandu valley and its surroundings is the heart of the Nepal. The two religions, Hinduism and Buddhism are ever present with the variety of gods and goddesses, many ornate temples, stupas and monasteries, and show the deep faith of the people. Not very long ago, it was said that there were more temples and shrines then houses and more Gods and Goddesses then local population in Kathmandu valley. The city is rich with unique cultural groups like Newar ancient inhabitants of Kathmandu valley, particularly ethnic group of Nepal, also known as the creator of pagoda architecture. The breathtaking panoramic mountain view and a diversity of beautiful landscape other major attraction of this valley. Explore the wild animal through the Jungle Safari in Chitwan National park, which is enlisted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Natural) or another Exciting Experience of this tour is Pokhara. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, Welcome to Nepal and Namaste!


On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from our office will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel and help you check in. You will then be briefed about your daily activities. In the evening, we have welcome dinner and we'll talk a little about Nepal and our program. (-/-/D)  

Day 2: Sightseeing through UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu City:


Kathmandu also known as Kantipur, the capital Kathmandu is the hub of Nepal's art and culture. It is a place for rest, relaxation and easy-day sightseeing of historic and artistic temples and monuments.  Kathmandu Durbar Square with its arrays of temples and the ancient palaces of the former Nepali Royals enriches your experience of the centuries old civilization. Then afternoon we drive to holy place of Buddhist, Swayambhunath, said to be around 2000 years old, this Buddhist Stupa sits atop a hill. The main stupa is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire crowned by a pinnacle of Copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. The hill of Swayambhu is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples. You’ll get a scenic view of Kathmandu city from there. (B/L/D)

Day 3: Sightseeing tour through the UNESCO world heritage site;


First of all we visit the hindu temple Pashupatinath, which is one of the oldest Hindu Temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is for the Hindus what Mecca is for the Muslims. Situated on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple was built in Pagoda Style with gilded roof and richly carved silver doors. Pashupatinath is the centre of annual pilgrimage on the day of Shivaratri which falls in the month of February/March. You’ll also be able to see cremation grounds that lie on the bank of Bagmati behind the temple. Then we drive to the holiest place of Buddhist, Boudhanath Stupa:One of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments ever built in Nepal; Boudhanath is one of the holiest structures imposing a height of 37 meters with three massive level Mandala style platforms. It is surrounded by colourful buildings housing families creating a friendly enclosure. The Stupa is visited every year by tens of thousands of pilgrims from all over the world. Afternoon we visit the Hindu shrine Budhanilkantha dedicated to lord Bishnu. The hub of the temple complex is a pond in which lies a 5 meter (17 feet) long great stone figure of Hindu god Bishnu reclining on the coils of a cosmic serpent. The figure has been estimated to have been found buried in the ground in its original state more than thousand years ago. (B/L/D)


Day 4: After breakfast drive to Chitwan National Park by bus (165km/5 hours).


The Chitwan National Park is the lush valley of Chitwan situated in the foothills of Churia ranges, in the Inner Terai lowlands, which is the first National Park of the Nepal and, enlisted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Natural) in 1984, the park spreads over an area of 932 sq. km.This National Park is famous for its variety of wildlife especially the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. The Tharu stick dance will be perform by Local. Overnight at the Jungle Lodge. (B/L/D)


Day 5: Jungle safari in the Chitwan National Park.


Today early Morning wake up and begin our Jungle Activity. Different kind of activity can we experience in this Park, like exploring the wild animal by Elephant ridding or bird watching, where is habitant of more then 450 species of birds or Jungle Walks allows one to explore several different birds, animals and we can learn about different kind of plants and herbs in the National park likewise dugout canoe is the best way to discover the habitat of crocodiles in the river. It is also a relaxing and better way to watch the different kind of birds and wildlife species, while they are drinking water in the bank of river Rapti. Overnight at Jungle Lodge. (B/L/D)


Day 6: After breakfast, drive to Lumbini (150 km / 4-5 hrs).


Upon arrival check into the hotel. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a UNESCO world heritage site. It is the place where Queen Mayadevi given birth to Siddhartha Gautama, who as the Buddha Gautama founded the Buddhist tradition. Lumbini has a number of temples, including the Mayadevi temple, the Puskarini or Holy Pond - where the Buddha's mother took the ritual dip prior to his birth and where he, too, had his first bath - as well as the remains of Kapilvastu palace. Lumbini is the perfect place to go to if we are into cultural, archaeological and religious treasures. With the number of stupas, meditation grounds, temples, courtyards, Bodhi Trees with meny colorful prayer Flags and more other to relax. Overnight at Hotel. (B/L/D)


Day 7: Drive to Pokhara via Tansen from Lumbini is approx. 200 kms.


Southwest and takes about 7 hours. Its spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes and surrounding greenery make it ‘the jewel in the Himalaya’, a place of remarkable natural beauty. With the magnificent Annapurna range forming the backdrop and the serenity of three major lakes – Phewa, Rupa and Begnas, Overnight at Hotel. (B/L/D)


Day 8: Hike to world peace Pagoda and descend to Davis Fall.


After breakfast, we enjoy boating and visit the island temple of Barahi, Located in the middle of Phewa Lake, Barahi Temple is one the most important monuments in Pokhara. The two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima who represents the female force, Shakti. After shot break we continue to phedi ant walk about one and half hour to the World Peace Pagoda. It has four images of the Buddha facing the four directions. The dome-shaped pagoda is an impressive sight, and its hilltop location offers spectacular views of the Annapurna. We descend to the Devi's fall, Locally known as Patale Chhango (Hell's Fall), Devi's fall (also known as Devin's or David's), is an interesting modern legend says that a foreigner named David was skinny dipping in the Pardi Khola (river) when the floodgates of the dam were opened, sweeping him into an underground passage beneath the fall, never to be seen again. Day 9: Hike around the Begnas Lake,


After breakfast we drive about twenty minute to the Begnas Lake and we cross the Lake by boating and we hike along the Sundari Danda ridge going east over Bhanjyang with the trail slowly leading higher through forests. Take a short break at Pauraake Danda exploring this small Bahun village perched high on the ridge. The view of the surrounding hill sides and of the twin lakes of Rupa and Begnas is simply breathtaking. Walk steadily north gaining a slight altitude through Begnas village, a spread out spectacle of clean mud houses and terraced fields. Higher up is Begnas Maidan, an open meadow perched on a hilltop from where one can have the most spectacular mountain views sweeping from east to west in a vast snowy expanse; Manaslu and entire Annapurna massif. Then we walk to the begnas Resort and have a lunch. After lunch we back to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 10: Flight to Kathmandu and sightseeing of Namobuddha, overnight stay in Dhulikhel.


This morning we will take the short morning flight to Kathmandu.  This exciting flight passes over the terraced Himalayan foothills, with views of the main range to the Annapurna, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal and other more Mountains. After arrival we will transfer to the Hotel about 30 km. east of Kathmandu Valley and afternoon we have enough time for explore the Buddhist holey place of Namobuddha Stupa. Here, according to local legend, a prince (the present Buddha) discovered a starving tigress about to devour a boy. Out of compassion the prince offered his body to the tigeress in the boy's place. His remains are said to be enshrined in the main stupa. After exploring the area we drive back to Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 11: Sightseeing of Panauti and Bhaktapur and overnight stay in Nagarkot,


Early in the morning we visit to the charming medieval village of Panauti, a treasure trove of ancient Newari architecture. The Indreswor temple is one of the largest and tallest pagoda style temples in Panauti. It was originally built over a lingam in 1294, making it the oldest surviving temple of Nepal. The roof struts embellishing the two lower stories of the temple are distinct Nepalese wood-carving and architecture. After Panuti we drive about 15 km west to Bhaktapur (Bhatgaon), also known as city of devotees, this place is the home of medieval art and architecture.  This place was founded in the 9th Century and is shaped like a conch shell. In Bhadgaon, we will visit the Durbar Square with its array of temples overlooked by the Palace of 55 windows built by King Bupatindra Malla. The Nyatapola Temple, also built by King Bhupatindra Malla, is the best example of Pagoda style. Then after we drive about 18 km east to Nagarkot. It is renowned for its spectacular sunrise view from east, including Mount Everest as well as Dhaulagiri to the west of the Himalayan range of Nepal. Overnight in Nagarkot at Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 12: Sightseeing of Changunarayan, Patan (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and overnight in Kathmandu.


After enjoying the Sunrise early in the morning we leave the Nagarkot and visit the Changu Narayan temple, the oldest Hindu temples of the valley, and is believed to be constructed in the 4th century. Changu Narayan is the name of Vishnu, and the Temple is dedicated to him. It is listed as one of the world heritage site by UNESCO and afternoon we visit Patan City, Located about 5 km south of Kathmandu, Patan is one of 3 royal cities in the valley. A destination for connoisseurs of fine arts, Patan is filled with wood and stone carvings, metal statues, ornate architecture, including dozens of Buddhist and Hindu temples, and over 1200 monuments, another UNESCO world heritage site of Kathmandu valley. Day 13: Shopping and relax at the hotel.

Day 14: Departure:


Depature from Nepal and arrival in Home Land.
